Job summary

Litify is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in New York. You will write clean, scalable code for AWS services (Lambda, Fargate) and contribute to Salesforce integration projects.

The role emphasizes learning Salesforce and collaborating with senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy data-driven applications. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of backend experience (Node.js preferred), 2+ years with AWS, and a willingness to work with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience, Node.js preferred.
• 2+ years in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Willingness to learn Salesforce (LWC, Apex) and work on Salesforce projects.
• Experience with AI code assistance tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Strong communication with peers in Engineering and Product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor RESTful APIs.
• Build efficient services for storing and processing structured data.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code templates (CloudFormation) and deploy stacks across environments.
• Help manage the security and organization of data in S3.
• Contribute to AWS integrations with Salesforce (LWC/Apex) as part of that work.
• Partner with senior engineers and Product Managers to scope and deliver features.
• Contribute to project documentation and knowledge bases.
