Position: Software Engineer AWS

Location: Remote (Onsite)

Job Description:

The customer is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Asset Repository team. This team is responsible for storing and delivering petabytes of files used across content import, management, processing, and distribution systems. Our systems handle storage, tracking, protection, and delivery of various media including apps, songs, movies, and videos, both streamed and downloaded.

Key Qualifications:

1. Fluency in Java and related tools such as Bazel, Gradle, Maven
2. Expertise in data modeling and object-oriented programming
3. Detailed understanding of S3 APIs
4. Detailed understanding of IAM APIs

Bonus Qualifications:

1. Understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and optimizing transfer throughput for large files
2. Protocol-level understanding of HTTP
3. Experience with Kubernetes and related tools (Helm, Kompose, etc.)
