Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ATM lab in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on developing and executing automated API tests, validating transaction flows, and analyzing logs with tools such as LogScale and Dynatrace.

On-site five days a week, with potential overtime to meet business needs. Responsibilities include testing across backend applications, collaborating with the Virtual ATM Lead, and contributing to test strategy and reports that meet PNC compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with API testing and test documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot API issues using logs and monitoring tools.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated API tests using Postman, Java, and Karate.
• Conduct ATM transaction testing with simulator to support releases.
• Log, track and escalate defects in Jira throughout the lifecycle.
• Assist with manual tests in the lab when priorities shift.
• Create and document test cases in Jira and confluence.
