Cargill is seeking a Software Engineer Associate for its Technology Development Program in Atlanta, GA. The role involves development, testing, and support of digital solutions within a global team.

Participants will rotate through three experiences over two years, focusing on applications, platforms, and data. Graduates join Digital Technology & Data roles and may mentor new Rotational Program participants.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic structured programming, systems analysis and design, database design
• Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related duties
• Must possess initiative and resourcefulness with limited guidance
• Proven ability to work with diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot and document software solutions
• Ensure code quality and apply security practices in applications
• Collaborate with team to adopt agile methodologies
• Participate in peer code reviews and learn engineering practices
• Share technical approaches within the engineering community
• Partner with other teams to deliver digital solutions
• Handle basic issues under supervision and escalate complex ones
• Other duties as assigned
