Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems in Manassas, Virginia is seeking a Software Developer to support Navy programs. The role requires C++ development on an agile team, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to serve as a Scrum Master.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 1+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in C++ programming language.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience working within an Agile Team as a Scrum Master
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience with C++ multithreaded programming
• Experience with gRPC
• Experience with BASH scripting
• Experience with publish/subscribe (pub/sub) communication design patterns
• Experience with AMQP, or other broker type messaging protocols
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Podman or Docker or Kubernetes.
• Desire to integrate, test and refactor software systems.

The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Software Developer. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience with C++, software development on an agile team, a keen ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and excel as a servant leader in the role of Scrum Master .

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75400.00 - $140000.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
