Job summary

Aegistech in Northern NJ is seeking a full-time Software Engineer for our application support team. The role is on-site in the office, four days per week, with local candidates only and no relocation.

Responsibilities include designing data models, implementing .NET solutions (C#, ASP.NET, WCF), automating jobs, monitoring performance, supporting production systems, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer-related field.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework 4.0+ with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF, and MS SQL.
• Experience with data modeling and system integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization capabilities.
• Willingness to mentor and support team members.

• Design and implement Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models using Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF, MS SQL).
• Automate and maintain scheduled jobs to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability.
• Monitor performance metrics across production systems, identify root causes of technical issues, and recommend solutions.
• Document, test, and implement software components, and provide ongoing technical support.
• Conduct performance analysis to identify and resolve bottlenecks in application functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and train peers and junior engineers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
