Job summary

HolidayCheck is hiring for an Android developer to maintain and evolve our Android app. You will work in a cross-functional team with iOS/Android developers, Product Designers and Product Managers to deliver features to thousands of users.

We value hands-on experience with Kotlin, Android architecture components, Compose and coroutines, plus a willingness to explore new technologies including AI. A hybrid work model with two office days and three remote days awaits.

Qualifications

• At least three years of Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Experience with Android architecture components, Compose, Coroutines and Flows.
• Knowledge of testing practices for high-quality apps.
• Experience with RxJava is a plus.
• Published apps on Google Play is highly regarded.
• Experience with Node.js or Scala is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to maintain and evolve the HolidayCheck Android app
• Engage in robust development practices including pair programming, code reviews, and continuous delivery to thousands of users
• Innovate and implement new features, working closely with iOS/Android developers, Product Designers, and Product Managers

• Additional Technical Acumen: Experience with Node.js or Scala is beneficial, and having published apps on the Play Store is highly regarded
