Job summary

HomeToGo in Cracow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead to manage one of our Consumer Product teams. You will guide engineers through delivering features on a scalable PHP/JS stack, using Symfony, Docker, Kubernetes and related tech.

You will collaborate with Product to shape roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive technical initiatives that improve product quality while maintaining delivery speed. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Proficient in PHP and JS/TS with experience in Symfony or similar frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive technical initiatives while keeping delivery on track.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and rapid technical decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with agile methods, KPIs, OKRs, and scalable architecture design.
• Fluent in English.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Have 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
• Are proficient in at least one modern programming language (PHP, JS/TS) and experience with relevant frameworks
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, managing competing priorities
• Have ability to keep the team focused on key initiatives while maintaining operational excellence
• Are familiar with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Are proficient in working with agile projects, setting KPIs, defining and executing OKRs
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Are fluent in English
