Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative discipline; required two years of experience in the role or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect and implement end-to-end software solutions for frontend and backend components.
• Partner with senior AML engineers to translate business needs into scalable solutions, metrics and dashboards.
• Backend development of robust, scalable server-side applications and APIs.
• Work with databases and data models and build scalable data pipelines for data processing and analysis.
• Optimize performance and maintain system stability; participate in architecture discussions and drive technical decisions.
• Ensure adherence to software design patterns and best practices; conduct unit, integration and end-to-end testing.

Social Finance, LLC seeks Software Engineer, AML in Seattle, WA

Job Duties

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement end-to-end solutions that encompass both frontend and backend components. Utilize your expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to deliver high-quality and scalable software applications. Partner with senior engineers in the Anti-Money Laundering function to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop solutions, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization. Backend Development: Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications and APIs. Work with databases and data models to manage and store information effectively. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support efficient data processing and analysis. Optimize performance and maintain system stability. Participate in architecture discussions and provide valuable insights to drive technical decisions. Ensure that software design patterns and best practices are followed throughout the development process. Conduct thorough testing of software components, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability and functionality of the applications. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from SoFi offices in Seattle, WA.

Requirements

Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
