Software Engineers at Allstate (Consultant II through Lead) build and enhance digital products using modern engineering practices and 12-factor application principles. Engineers across all levels own the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both frontend (web/mobile) and backend services while leveraging test‑driven development, continuous integration, and cloud‑native practices.
As engineers grow in level, expectations are scaled from hands‑on development and team collaboration to technical leadership, cross‑product influence, and strategic partnership.
