Job summary

Real Time Consulting (RTC) seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of safety-critical avionics software for Air Data Systems. This is a remote position requiring extensive experience in embedded software development and DO-178B/C certification.

DESIRED CANDIDATE will design, develop, verify, and certify embedded software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain configuration management while meeting strict project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in embedded software development throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C software certification processes.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices.
  • Knowledge of software architecture principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Thorough understanding of embedded software architecture, software design principles, and development best practices.
  • Experience defining software requirements in alignment with operational objectives.
  • Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

ABOUT THE JOB:

Seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of safety-critical avionics software for Air Data Systems. This is a remote position supporting advanced aerospace programs requiring extensive experience in embedded software development and DO-178B/C certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, modify, test, and implement embedded software for Air Data Systems applications.
