Job summary

DeVine is seeking a Software Engineer with a Secret Clearance to join our team at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. This onsite role supports a government customer and requires US citizenship.

You will work on METOC-related projects and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver results that impact national capabilities. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of Python experience, familiarity with Anaconda and Docker, and a track record of delivering under tight schedules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Python programming experience.
• Current Secret Clearance is required.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, meetings, reports, and progress tracking.

DeVine is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.

Our company is looking for a Software Engineer, with Secret Clearance,to join our team at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. This onsite position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.

The Software Engineer will join DeVine and will work with our customer supporting projects inapplied Meteorology, Oceanography (METOC), etc. If you enjoy working hard, having fun, and seeing your effort make an impact in our Nation, and the World at large.

Required Experience with:

• 4+ years' professional programming experience with Python
• Experience with Anaconda, automation and dockerization
• Coordinating support for projects that involve multiple stakeholders, participating in related meetings, writing reports and tracking progress
• Current Secret Clearance

Preferred Experience with:

• using generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM): as a Coding Partner, Rapid Prototyping & Modeling, Deep Learning & Simulation and Vector databases
• Java
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4D modelling, METOC, NetCDF
• Dockerized interface development for UUV sensors a plus
• Writingcustomscripts
• Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), especially in regards to Navy systems

About the position:

Position Type: Full-time
