Job summary

Amazon Velocity Labs in Seattle is looking for a Software Development Engineer to design and build AI primitives and user-facing services. You will ship features from concept to rollout, craft system designs, and work with a team that uses AI-enabled tooling to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

You will collaborate across disciplines, applying strong coding, design, and reliability practices to solve complex challenges and impact AWS customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new or existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered software applications.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field.
• Experience programming in at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI primitives and user-facing services in a fast-paced environment.
• Ship features from concept to design to implementation and rollout.
• Follow best practices to meet schedules and maintain software quality.
• Create and review system designs and collaborate to shape future products.
• Leverage AI-enabled tooling throughout the product lifecycle.
