Job summary

Proofpoint seeks a Software Engineer for the Satori AI Platform to architect an internal platform used by product teams to build agentic applications. You’ll work with Python and TypeScript to shape release gates, observability, and AuthX for AI workloads, impacting Fortune 100 customers 24/7/365.

Role involves setting platform standards, mentoring engineers, and delivering reusable capabilities while collaborating across orgs to advance AI-powered solutions.

Qualifications

Experience developing AI-powered applications in development, testing, or production environments.
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js with maintainable, scalable, well-tested code.
Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI/Anthropic Agents SDK, MCP.
Exposure to evaluation, monitoring, and observability concepts for AI applications.

Responsibilities

Design and drive architecture for platform pillars and agent runtimes.
Set standards for prompt management, model selection, and observability.
Mentor engineers across platform and product teams and deliver reusable platform capabilities.
Collaborate with product teams to land architecture in their stacks.
