Job summary

Everforth ECS, located in Manassas, VA, seeks a Software Engineer to support AI/ML and Big Data/Cloud projects, including naval acoustics initiatives. You will prototype, deploy in cloud environments, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; CS or IT field or equivalent experience.
• Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Proficiencies in Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization/orchestration
• 5 years of experience coding, designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to visualize processes
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Willingness to travel up to 15% to CONUS/OCONUS
• Ability to quickly grasp and implement new technologies
• Self-motivated, problem-solver with imagination

Responsibilities

• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with end-users, and studying systems flow.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Establish and meet projected timelines and work independently or as a member of a team
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
