Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer within the CX Engineering organization to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scalable RESTful APIs, and microservices that integrate AI/LLM capabilities.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, deploy via Docker and Kubernetes across AWS/Azure/GCP, and uphold reliability through Pytest, reviews, and on-call rotations while collaborating closely with design and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience in Python development.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI-assisted development environments to accelerate the SDLC.
• Experience with RESTful API design and relational data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, scalable RESTful APIs, and microservices with AI/LLM integration.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized apps across major clouds using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure quality and reliability with Pytest, code reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into delivered features.
