Supermicro is seeking an experienced on-site ML/AI developer in San Jose to build AI agents for processing and resolving customer support and technical tickets. You will collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance support efficiency and reduce turnaround times.

The role requires strong Python expertise, ML/LLM framework knowledge, and a track record of delivering production-grade AI services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Software engineering background with experience shipping production services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML/LLM frameworks.
• Proficiency with Linux, Git, and Docker.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Experience building and deploying production-ready systems that use large language models.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Summary

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with LLM tooling and agent frameworks (LangChain or similar)
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and/or model evaluation frameworks
• Experience integrating models via APIs and serving them at scale

Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000

• In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
