Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer – AI Integration for a wargaming modernization program in Suffolk, VA. You will work in Linux-based, air-gapped environments, deploying and troubleshooting software and integrating AI/LLMs while collaborating with an AI-focused team.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with HS Diploma or 0 years with a related Master's degree.
• Hands-on Linux experience and command-line usage.
• Experience with Docker and containerization, including troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python scripting for integration/automation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML and LLM concepts; deep AI expertise not required.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot software in Linux-based, air-gapped environments.
• Manage Docker containers and Docker Compose configurations.
• Develop Python scripts to support integration, automation, and added functionality.
• Assist with AI/LLM integration into an existing wargaming environment.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues during development, testing, and live events.
• Monitor system performance and resource utilization.
• Support testing and validation of new software and AI integrations.
• Collaborate with AI-focused team to evaluate solutions and solve integration challenges.
• Document deployment configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Follow security and configuration requirements within a classified environment.
