Job summary

zvoove Software Germany GmbH sucht einen Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d), der die technische Lieferung eines Produkts von Architektur bis Produktion verantwortet. Sie treffen eigenständig Technologieentscheidungen und nutzen AI-Coding-Agents, um Spezifikationen zu schreiben und Ergebnisse zu prüfen.

Sie arbeiten am Backend-Stack mit PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB und Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), setzen Cloud-native Praktiken um und modernisieren Langzeit-Systeme.

Qualifications

• Erfahrung als Software Engineer, ideal mit PHP sowie relationalen und dokumentbasierten Datenbanken (MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB).
• Erfahrung in cloud-native Entwicklung und mit Kubernetes (Azure AKS und/oder AWS EKS).
• Hands-on-Erfahrung mit KI-Coding-Agenten: Spezifikationen definieren, Agents orchestrieren und Output prüfen.

Responsibilities

• Eigene Architekturs- und Technologiethemen bis zur Produktion tragen.
• Architekturentscheidungen treffen, Migrationen z. B. zu PHP 8.5 oder in die AWS-Cloud.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Product Buildern und anderen Engineering-Teams zur Abstimmung.

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you own the technical delivery of a product or a large, self-contained feature area - from architecture to production. You make technology decisions independently, guided by what our customers really need rather than the literal wording of a specification. AI coding agents are your primary lever for delivery: you write specs, orchestrate agents and critically evaluate their results. You own the end-to-end technical delivery of your product or feature area, including architecture and technology decisions, such as the migration to PHP 8.5 or to the AWS cloud You work on core building blocks of our platform: PHP backend, MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) You translate customer needs into precise specs that coding agents can implement unambiguously, and you challenge requirements that don't hold up from a business perspective You evaluate AI-generated output based on results and tests, and systematically check for inconsistencies, hallucinations and bias You work as an equal partner with the Product Builder on solutions and align integration boundaries with other engineering teams

Several years of experience as a Software Engineer, ideally with PHP as well as relational and document-based databases (MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB) Experience in cloud-native development and with Kubernetes (Azure AKS and/or AWS EKS) Hands-on experience working with AI coding agents: you define specs, orchestrate agents and review their output The ability to make architecture and technology decisions independently for a larger scope Business-fluent German and English Experience modernising long-lived software systems Knowledge of Responsible AI and AI governance, e.g. around the EU AI Act Experience with React, Angular or Ionic/Capacitor, as well as with B2B2C environments with high availability requirements
