Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Software Engineer to join an early engineering team building AI agents and agentic applications. You will design and implement AI agents that connect enterprise data sources using MCP/A2A, JavaScript/Node.js, and SAP CAP/BTP.

You’ll drive projects from concept through production, integrate agents with APIs, and help establish reusable development patterns. This onsite role in Denver offers ownership, fast pacing, and collaboration with business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI agents, ideally MCP/A2A.
• Experience with JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript.
• Exposure to SAP CAP and/or SAP BTP.
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, JSON, and modern app development.
• Ability to demonstrate something you’ve built, professionally or personally.
• Comfort using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc).

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with an established consumer technology company in the audio and music space that combines a long-standing consumer brand with modern connected technology.

The company is building a new engineering team focused on AI agents and agentic applications and is looking for a Software Engineer to be one of the early members of that team.

You’ll work hands‑on building and improving AI agents that connect enterprise applications, APIs, and live business data. The environment utilizes MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent2Agent), JavaScript/Node.js, SAP CAP, and SAP BTP.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build new AI agents using MCP and/or A2A frameworks
• Take agent projects from initial business problem through design, development, testing, deployment, and production
• Maintain and enhance existing production AI agents
• Develop applications and services using JavaScript/Node.js and SAP CAP/BTP
• Integrate agents with enterprise systems through REST APIs, SAP OData services, and other live data sources
• Build secure, read-only access to source systems and help establish reusable development patterns
• Troubleshoot issues across multiple applications and integrations
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code
• Partner directly with business and technical teams to understand problems and translate them into practical technical solutions
• Clearly explain technical recommendations to nontechnical stakeholders
• Contribute to automated testing, GitHub-based development, and technical documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 1-5 years of software development experience, although depth of relevant hands‑on experience matters more than an exact number of years
• Hands‑on experience building AI agents, ideally using MCP and/or A2A
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and/or TypeScript
• Exposure to SAP CAP and/or SAP BTP
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, JSON, and modern application development
• Ability to demonstrate something you’ve actually built, whether professionally, personally, or through a substantial academic project
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technology in terms of the business problem it solves
• Comfortable taking ownership and working in a fast‑moving environment with limited red tape
