Job summary

CNH Industrial America LLC in Tempe, Arizona, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement software for our next‑generation executive control system for agricultural machines. You will work on safe machine automation, inter‑machine communications, and deployment activities in a hybrid environment with two days remote.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of software engineering experience, with strong background in Rust, C++,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Rust and C++.
• Experience with AI, including neural networks and language models.
• Experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git.
• Experience with Linux and networking (TCP/IP, mDNS).
• Experience with debugging tools (LLDB, GDB, Perf).
• Experience with scripting (Python or Bash).
• Experience with Docker, CAN, and IPC (ZMQ/MQTT/sockets).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software for safe machine automation and inter-machine communications.
• Develop and evaluate software from concept through production.
• Create and update documentation for designs and all project phases.
• Assist with training needs and deployment related to software.
• Collaborate with external customers to troubleshoot and solve problems.
