Job Summary

Our client, a leading aviation company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Agentic System Layer (ASL) team responsible for building and maintaining the core platform components that power next-generation AI agent systems. This role will focus on developing scalable AI infrastructure, including agent orchestration services, execution runtimes, APIs, microservices, and LLM-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering experience with Python, hands‑on experience building production APIs and cloud‑native applications, and familiarity with LLM integration, AI/ML workflows, and agentic frameworks. This position requires a strong software engineer who can write clean, testable code, collaborate with architects and ML engineers, and help deliver reliable AI platforms in a production environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Implement observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure the reliability and performance of AI‑driven workflows
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to improve application quality, stability, and production readiness
  • Partner with software architects, ML engineers, and cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and integrate AI‑powered solutions
  • Support production environments through troubleshooting, incident response, and participation in on‑call rotations
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes using Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices
  • Develop and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable cloud deployments
  • Integrate AI/ML services using LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration tools
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and software design sessions to promote engineering best practices and maintain high code quality
  • Continuously improve platform performance, scalability, security, and maintainability through automation and process enhancements
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • 5+ years software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python
  • Working knowledge of at least one: Java, Go, or TypeScript
  • Hands‑on experience building production REST/gRPC APIs and microservices
