Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer for Ads Security to build security solutions that enable partners to move at the speed of business while reducing vulnerability exposure.

The role covers design, development, testing, documentation and operations with end-to-end ownership of multiple Ads Security products. Strong ML/LLM knowledge and rapid delivery in a fast-paced environment are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques
• Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, implementation and deployment of products to deliver access risk lifecycle management capabilities.
• Adopt an iterative, continuous improvement approach to release and deploy features.
• Work in an agile environment, collaborate on designs, code reviews, testing and issues.
• Develop/adopt testing frameworks and test plans to improve code quality.
• Build reusable code patterns including APIs, libraries, SDKs.
• Lead design reviews to ensure alignment with goals.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence.
• End-to-end ownership of several Ads Security products.
• Develop next generation products leveraging AI technologies.
• Handle ad-hoc requests with on-call and reporting responsibilities
