Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a software engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to join the Worldwide Advertising PEG team. You will design and implement features across the advertising ecosystem, tackle complex problems, and promote best practices in coding and testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Designs and independently implements key features solving difficult software problems for our partners, potentially spanning multiple areas of Amazon's advertising ecosystem.
• Solves complex technical problems with simple solutions wherever possible.
• Demonstrates knowledge and use of coding and testing best practices.
• Influences the team's technical direction and maintains a high quality bar, having a direct impact on both software quality and experience for our users.
• Effectively communicates technical and non-technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Collaborates with peers and mentors to receive guidance, and acts as a mentor to others as required.
• Cultivates relationships with partner teams.
