You will own end-to-end features in Rust, C++, and Lua, collaborate across Growth, Discovery, and Safety, and analyze usage data to improve safety and accessibility for all ages.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering or computer science.
• Experience building user-facing applications or services.
• Proficiency with Rust, C++, or Lua in projects.
• Experience collaborating with product stakeholders to define requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, data integrity, and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own design, implementation and rollout of security-focused features across platforms.
• Collaborate with Growth, Discovery and Roblox Safety teams to align goals.
• Help define how goals are achieved and influence product direction.
• Shape users' initial Roblox experience with strong security expectations.
• Instrument and analyze usage data (A/B tests) to inform decisions.
• Deliver end-to-end stack work in Rust, C++, and Lua, leveraging AI tools where possible.
