At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what's next. The Player Platform Solutions team owns the operational excellence, reliability, and quality of the player across Web and TV. We build and maintain test frameworks and automation, drive quality assessment and performance improvements, enhance developer productivity workflows, and own infrastructure tooling, monitoring, and release management for the player. We partner with internal and external teams on platform-specific and foundational playback needs - device security, client-server communication, performance optimization - and work closely with Core Playback and Stream Algorithms to ensure a consistent, high-quality playback experience for members worldwide. We're the team that makes sure playback just works on living-room devices and browsers at global scale - and we're evolving how we test, debug, and ship the player using the latest tools, including AI, as a core capability rather than a side experiment to make the Player safe and fast to change on every TV and Web platform.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing automated tests and tooling that ensure high-quality streaming experiences on TV and Web devices. You will contribute to improving our build, integration, and release workflows so features and fixes ship quickly and reliably. You'll partner with engineers across the team to scope and deliver projects end to end, and grow your depth in playback quality and developer productivity.
