Everforth Apex seeks a senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow GRC and IRM capabilities. You will lead enterprise initiatives, integrate with other enterprise applications, and drive governance, risk, and compliance workflows across large-scale environments.

The ideal candidate has deep ServiceNow development experience, strong scripting skills, and is certified CAD and CSA. Collaboration with security, audit, and risk teams is essential for success.

This individual will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for developing scalable ServiceNow capabilities, supporting risk management initiatives, and driving strategic technology solutions across the enterprise.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration, with a strong focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and enterprise risk programs. Responsibilities**ServiceNow Development & Engineering*** Lead complex technology initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.* Design, develop, configure, test, debug, document, and support ServiceNow solutions.* Develop scalable and maintainable ServiceNow applications that align with business and regulatory requirements.* Participate in defining ServiceNow development standards, governance models, and engineering best practices.* Evaluate and recommend technical solutions that support strategic business objectives and enterprise architecture requirements.* Collaborate with architects, developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.**ServiceNow GRC / Integrated Risk Management*** Configure and enhance ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) capabilities.* Support implementation and customization of the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module.* Design and implement workflows supporting risk identification, assessment, remediation, and compliance processes.* Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.* Ensure solutions align with enterprise governance, risk, audit, and compliance requirements.* Support enterprise vulnerability management, remediation tracking, risk assessment, and compliance reporting activities.**Platform Configuration & Customization*** Develop and maintain: + Business Rules + Client Scripts + Script Includes + UI Policies + UI Scripts + Data Policies + Access Control Lists (ACLs)* Configure ServiceNow applications utilizing both out-of-the-box functionality and custom development.* Troubleshoot medium to complex platform configuration and scripting issues.* Create and maintain technical documentation and solution designs.**Integrations & Automation*** Design and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications.* Utilize ServiceNow APIs and integration frameworks to enable automated business processes.* Develop and support Flow Designer solutions to automate workflows.* Implement and maintain automated testing solutions utilizing ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).* Support platform optimization initiatives through automation and process improvements.* Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise security platforms, governance systems, compliance tools, and third-party applications utilizing APIs and workflow automation capabilities.**Enterprise Security & Risk Solutions*** Support ServiceNow-based Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiatives.* Implement workflows supporting vulnerability response, remediation lifecycle management, cybersecurity processes, and enterprise security programs.* Collaborate with security, audit, compliance, and risk management teams to improve governance and operational effectiveness.* Support application security, vulnerability management, and enterprise security tooling initiatives through ServiceNow platform capabilities.**Technical Leadership*** Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.* Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.* Collaborate with senior technology leaders and subject matter experts to resolve complex technical challenges.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform stability, scalability, and performance.* Influence engineering decisions and contribute to enterprise ServiceNow development standards.Required Qualifications* 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent combination of work experience, education, military experience, or training.* Active **ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)**
