Position Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior .Net Developer with Spark experience. Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2) Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible) Location: Charlotte, NC - 3 days Hybrid on-site role. The position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using .NET Core, Angular, Spark, and SQL Server technologies.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, backend services, and JBPM workflow solutions to support business-critical processes.
• Develop responsive and high-performing user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS.
• Create, optimize, and support Spark-based ETL/ELT data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following SOLID principles and modern design patterns.
• Develop and execute automated tests using xUnit, NUnit, Jasmine, Karma, and Playwright to ensure application quality.
• Optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data integration processes for maximum performance.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and YAML-based deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies while mentoring junior developers when needed.
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Support cloud-native development initiatives and leverage Azure services where applicable.
• Continuously evaluate and implement engineering best practices to improve application quality and team productivity.

Ideal Candidate

• Full stack application development with strong expertise in .NET Core, Angular, REST APIs, Spark, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience building scalable backend services using C#, .NET 6/7+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and JBPM workflows.
• Strong front-end development skills with Angular 13+, TypeScript, RxJS, and modern UI architecture patterns.
• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing Spark-based ETL/ELT pipelines, including data transformations, performance tuning, and data quality validations.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development, integration patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including query optimization, database design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, OpenShift (OCP), and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Strong testing expertise using xUnit, NUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Playwright, IceDQ, and Octane.
• Familiarity with software design principles such as SOLID, Dependency Injection, Repository Pattern, Mediator Pattern, and microservices/modular monolith architectures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Self-driven problem solver who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative engineering environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (App Services, Key Vault, Storage) is a plus.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range: $65- $70 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
