Job summary

BYU Pathway is looking for a Software Development Engineer 2 to work on the Power Platform and Azure solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Bluffdale, Utah, requiring a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software under the guidance of senior developers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Two years of relevant professional experience.
Strong understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
Intermediate skills in engineering/programming and analytical/diagnostic/troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Cloud-Based Platforms and DevSecOps principles.

Responsibilities

Participate in the analysis of functional requirements.
Develop source code and unit tests according to technical designs.
Contribute to technical documentation.
Participate in code reviews.
Fix defects on a 24/7 basis.
