Job summary

MERP Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Architect to steer architecture and development of Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 solutions for enterprise applications.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive technical decisions from design through delivery in a remote, full-time role based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with 8+ years of software development experience.
• MS .NET technologies, Power Apps and Dynamics 365 experience required.
• Experience leading architecture decisions, design reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Software Development teams and provide technical leadership.
• Involved in system architecture and high-level design decisions; evaluate technologies, ensure scalability, and define best practices.
• Take ownership of complex problems, make architectural decisions, and help shape project direction.
• Review detailed specifications from which development effort will be implemented.
• Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex applications.
• Direct and participate in all phases of application development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases.
• Advise on the most efficient development approach.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Customize and configure Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, and workflows to align with business processes.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Maintain detailed documentation for future enhancements.
• Stay up to date with Dynamics 365 features and updates.
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field and 8 years of experience as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer or any job title involving software development.

Will accept a Master's degree and 6 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience.

Experience must include software development using Microsoft .NET technologies, Power Apps and Dynamics 365.
