Summary:

We are seeking a driven and innovative Software Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain solutions that grow our Health division. As a Software Engineer, you will work on building, designing, and supporting applications that monitor the sale of products regulated by law and policy. This is a remote-first position within a distributed team environment, working with high-volume applications relied upon by some of the largest health systems and retailers in the nation.

What You’ll Do:

1. Design, code, and debug all assigned features.
2. Work closely with your team and engineering leadership to ensure the highest standards of design, implementation, performance, and security are met.
3. Analyze application problem areas and propose solutions.
4. Plan and execute unit and functional tests as required to ensure changes meet requirements.
5. Learn and utilize new technologies, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to project requirements.
6. Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging AI, cloud, and automation technologies.
7. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You Need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent.
2. 2-5 years of professional experience designing, coding, and testing web applications.
3. Desire to work as a full-stack developer on customer-facing software and web services.
4. Proficiency with HTML/CSS and the ability to build web pages that match a given design.
5. Proficiency with Java and Java frameworks (Spring Boot preferred).
6. Knowledge of SQL and fundamentals of relational database design.
7. The ability to be self-disciplined, figure things out largely on your own, and complete work without hand-holding.
8. Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes is a plus.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high judgment and creativity in designing solutions.
10. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
11. Effective remote work skills, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
