New Era Technology is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to be deployed at a key client in Malaysia. This remote, full-time role requires strong Java 8+ and Spring Boot skills along with hands-on microservices and API development.

You will work with a global team, contribute to scalable backend solutions, and participate in modern DevOps practices including CI/CD. Candidates with 4–5 years of experience and familiarity with PostgreSQL, Git, and Jira are encouraged to apply.

About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Software Engineer (Java) to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia.

Job Description

• Minimum years of experience: 4-5 years

Must Have

• Java: Proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework.
• Architecture: Hands-on experience with Microservices and API development.
• Database: Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Tools: Version control using Git
• Platforms: Work tracking and ticketing experience with Jira.
• OS: Linux (basic scripting)
• DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

Nice to Have

• Prior experience or knowledge in B2C applications.
• Some frontend experience

Communication

Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Candidate

• Nationality: Indian
• Availability: Candidates who can join immediate to 30days notice.
