Enterprise Software Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications that enhance business operations, improve efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions while contributing to modern cloud-based architectures and AI-enabled technologies.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer with strong experience in C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, cloud platforms, and enterprise application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions, optimize existing applications, and help shape the organization’s technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
• Build new application features while maintaining and enhancing existing software modules.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure software solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end technical solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and software engineering standards.
• Recommend improvements to application design, development processes, and technology adoption.
• Participate in technical evaluations of new software, platforms, and vendor solutions.

Cloud & Integration Development

• Develop and deploy applications using cloud platforms and cloud-native services.
• Build and support integrations between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, cloud services, and third-party systems.
• Develop data integration workflows using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Support modernization efforts through scalable cloud-based architectures.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Support initiatives involving AI-powered solutions, automation, and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.
• Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies to improve software capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to technology innovation and continuous modernization efforts.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate with software developers, architects, business stakeholders, product owners, and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Support production applications by assisting with issue resolution and Level 2 support when needed.

Continuous Improvement

• Promote Agile development practices, DevOps methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Identify opportunities to improve software quality, system performance, and development efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvements, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience building modern web applications using JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong SQL development and relational database experience.
• Experience designing scalable enterprise software solutions.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying applications to Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Experience using Azure managed services and cloud-native application architectures.
• Experience with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI development platforms.
• Experience with Angular or other Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks.
• Experience with ETL tools and enterprise integration technologies such as SSIS, Informatica, Boomi, MuleSoft, AWS Glue, or Talend.
• Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Workday, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience within financial services, wealth management, asset management, or other regulated industries.
