Founding Full Stack Engineer (backend-focused) – AI Search Startup

Ovise is exclusively partnered with a well-funded AI search startup in the commodity and market intelligence space. Founded by former engineers from Palantir, Goldman Sachs, and Amazon, the company has raised preseed and is raising again in February. Now hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer as an early employee (~employee #5).

This is a true zero-to-one role. High ownership, real equity, fast pace. Not a 9-5. Fully onsite in NYC.

The Role

You’ll join as a backend-focused full stack engineer, helping build the core systems that power AI-driven search and data products. You’ll work closely with the founders and own production code from day one.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of software engineering experience (strong grads welcome)
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Backend-leaning full stack profile with solid system design fundamentals
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage environments
• Experience with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment

LLM / AI experience is a plus, not required

Compensation

• Base salary up to $160K
• Meaningful equity (up to 1%)
