Job summary

Praise Tech Sol is seeking a data warehousing and ETL specialist to design and implement scalable data architectures across the enterprise. You will model data using star and snowflake schemas, develop robust ETL pipelines, and optimize SQL for analytics across diverse data sources.

You will work with Fivetran, Matillion ETL, and Informatica to connect sources, transform data, and schedule workflows. Strong scripting, documentation, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data warehouses using star and snowflake schemas.
• Expertise in ETL development including SCD I/II, incremental loads, and data snapshots.
• Proficient SQL for analytics, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing PL/SQL objects: procedures, functions, triggers, packages.
• Knowledge of data integration tools (Fivetran, Matillion ETL, Informatica).
• Familiarity with OBIEE/OAC metadata, dashboards, and reports.
• Version control with Git; collaborative workflows.

Job description

Job Duties:

• Design and implement data warehouses using ER diagrams, facts, dimensions, star schema, and snowflake schema modeling
• Implement incremental loads using SCD I and II, truncate and load, snapshot data loads, soft delete, and aggregation tables.
• Develop and optimize SQL Queries using analytical / window functions, CTEs, indexes, table joins, partitioning, functions, synonyms, views, and materialized views.
• Develop PL/SQL complex database objects such as stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages using strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Utilize Fivetran to connect to different data sources, initialize syncs, and transformations, and schedule syncs. Monitor usage to ensure data integrity and performance
• Design, develop, and manage Matillion ETL pipelines, transformations to cleanse, transform, and load data, and schedule and monitor pipelines for optimal performance
• Develop and implement Informatica mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows using the designer, workflow, and monitor tools
• Configure metadata objects in OAC and OBIEE, including repository, variables, interactive dashboards, and reports using drill-down, filters, metadata repository facts, dimensions, hierarchies, and multi-user development environment MUDE
• Use GIT for version control and collaboration. Create, manage, and track branches, commits, and merges
• Use the Linux command line to manage files, run Python Scripts, and schedule tasks with cron. Use APIs to extract data from a variety of data sources.
• Develop custom scripts and tools to extract data from complex data sources. Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using APIs.
• Develop technical documentation, test plans, estimates, test cases, test scripts, and test report.
