Job summary

GRP Solutions Inc is seeking a data engineer to design data architecture and models, maintain data dictionary, and define facts and dimensions for enterprise data platforms. You will guide ETL/testing, data profiling, and DW/MDM implementations, collaborating with IT/business to gather requirements and validate data integrity.

The role requires a master's degree and 1 year of experience, with relocation contingent on client needs. No travel required. On-site Ashburn, VA.

Job description

Design data architecture and models, maintain data dictionary, define facts/dimensions, create mappings, guide ETL/testing, data profiling, DW and MDM implementations. Gather requirements, analyze systems, design AS-IS/TO-BE architecture, implement ETL (Informatica, PL/SQL), Greenplum data loads, Erwin data modelling and HLD/LLD. Collaborate with IT/business for requirements and solutions, perform data validation and integration testing, utilize Informatica, Erwin, Hackolade, Jira, SQL tools, and databases including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Greenplum, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL to support data engineering.

Requires a masters degree or any foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science/Engineering (any)/ C.I.S. or equivalent, plus 1 year of progressively responsible experience.

The employee's relocation is contingent on client needs. The frequency of the relocation as well is unknown, and it purely depends on the client's requirements. There is no National or International Travel involved for this position.
