Job summary

Insperity is seeking an experienced Application Developer to fulfill development, support, and maintenance requests across departments. You will define scope, estimate effort, and collaborate with design and analysis teams to ensure standards are met.

You will write code, create documentation, and develop unit tests for production release. The role requires a CS degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in the field, and strong .NET/JavaScript skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or four years of related work experience.
• Three to five years of professional experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Proficient with the .NET ecosystem including Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Entity Framework, Web API, and LINQ.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill application development, support, and maintenance requests with constituent departments.
• Assist in scope definition and estimation of work effort.
• Contribute to the business requirements gathering process.
• Work with the solution design team to ensure design standards are followed.
• Develop code to fulfill project requests and create technical documentation.

• Mentor development team members in technical complexities.
