Job summary

Insperity is seeking a Rotational Technology Intern to work across Innovative Technology Solutions teams. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software while translating business requirements into technical solutions.

In each rotation you will apply modern tools and collaborate with mentors to learn design standards, estimation, documentation, and testing. A Bachelor’s in IT/MIS/CS plus programming exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing or has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or a related field.
• GPA of 3.25 or higher preferred.
• Some programming skills in Java, C#, SQL, Perl, XML.

Responsibilities

• Learns the software development life cycle and technologies used to fulfill application development, support, and maintenance requests in an agile team environment.
• Participates in software development training as assigned by the development mentor.
• Works with the mentor to understand scope definition, effort estimation, business requirements gathering, technical documentation, unit testing, and standards.
• Assists in implementing and maintaining solutions and in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
