Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Software Engineer for the Onboarding squad to own backend services and APIs powering our data-driven platform. You will work in an Agile team, deliver high-quality code, and continuously learn new technologies to support customers and partners.

You will implement scalable services on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), contribute to API design, and collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver features across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Java and MySQL.
• Experience building REST APIs and cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and ORM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services on the cloud powering UIs.

Your Role at impact.com

As an impact.com Software Engineer working on the Onboarding squad, you will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features, enabling large-scale processing of data supporting impact products. This role is part of an Agile/Scrum team and requires active participation in all sprint ceremonies. This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform, subsequently providing recommendations to various teams backed by solid understanding of the value a technology would provide. The engineer is responsible for delivering quality code and software solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Hard working, passionate & dedicated.
• Knowledge of Spring Framework
• Experience with ORM Frameworks , preferred
• Experience with REST APIs
• 3+ years professional experience using Java and MySQL
• Experience building on cloud platforms, GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent work experience

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD per year, plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance with eligibility to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.
