Job summary

Qode, a San Francisco-based software company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver innovative solutions and mentor junior engineers.

You will write clean, tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the technical direction of projects. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a CS degree, and strong knowledge of Java, Python, or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
