Job summary

K Tech International in Torrington, CT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for an in-person role. You will lead design and development of complex systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and cloud-native architectures.

You will build microservices with RESTful APIs and contribute to front-end components using React/Angular. The role emphasizes collaboration with Agile teams, adherence to CI/CD, and maintaining robust databases and security practices.

Qualifications

• Proven software development background with exposure to IT infra, web engineering, and application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript frameworks (React/Express) and C.
• Solid understanding of scalable system design, microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience deploying/operating apps on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with GitHub or SVN and CI/CD for automated testing and releases.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL) and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with Linux environments and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle design and development of complex software systems with emphasis on performance and scalability.

• Participate in system architecture reviews, code reviews, and testing to maintain quality and reliability.

Requirements

Must have:
