Job summary

Kry is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Clinician Availability and Scheduling team. You will help ensure patients can book the right care at the right time by building scheduling, availability and booking capabilities across our multi-market platform.

You will collaborate across design, product, clinical operations and data analysis to deliver full-stack solutions, with a focus on reliable APIs, scalable services and modern cloud-based architectures using AWS and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and React.
• Experience using AI tools as part of development.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based applications (AWS, Terraform).
• Experience building backend services and APIs in distributed systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and learning new tech quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core services powering clinician schedules, availability and bookings.
• Solve scheduling problems such as matching patients to clinicians and balancing capacity.
• Work with design, product management, clinical operations and data analysis to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Build and optimise both client-side and server-side features with clean APIs.
• Take part in code reviews, write comprehensive tests and drive software excellence.
• Handle infrastructure setup and deployment pipelines with AWS, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
• Participate in an agile, lightweight Scrum process focused on continuous improvement.

The role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Clinician Availability and Scheduling team. Our mission is to make sure patients can book the right care at the right time, by building the scheduling, availability and booking capabilities that connect patients with clinicians across Sweden, Norway, France and the UK.

What you will do

Our challenge for you

• Build and evolve the core services that power clinician schedules, slot availability and patient bookings.
• Solve real-world scheduling problems such as matching patients to the right clinician, balancing capacity and handling rebookings.
• Work with cross-functional teams spanning design, product management, clinical operations and data analysis to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Build and optimise both client-side and server-side features, prioritising seamless usability and clean APIs.
• Take part in code reviews, write comprehensive tests and ensure software excellence through iterative improvements.
• Handle infrastructure setup and deployment pipelines with AWS, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
• Participate in an agile, lightweight Scrum process focused on continuously improving how we work.

Who you are

Your profile and skills

• Strong experience working with Java and React (Kotlin is a bonus).
• You use AI tools (such as coding assistants and agents) as a natural part of how you build, review and ship software.
• Strong understanding of developing cloud-based applications (AWS, Terraform).
• Experience building backend services and APIs, ideally in distributed or multi-market systems.
• You like the idea of working in a fast-moving environment.
• You are confident working with a range of languages and frameworks and can quickly adapt to new ones.
• Comfortable working in the English language (written and verbal).

It is not essential to have all these skills, but an aptitude and willingness to develop those you don't know is key.
