Job summary

Lancesoft in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Software Engineer II to help advance precision health by building the next generation of clinical research software. The role is hybrid with three days onsite per week, collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, FDA-regulated software.

You'll work with Scala, Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Cypress, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) to design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, while prioritizing

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/CE or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in one or more general-purpose languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with full-stack web applications development.
• Willingness to learn other languages and technologies as needed.

Title: Software Engineer II

Location: Raleigh, NC Hybrid 3x/week onsite

Overview: working to advance precision health by closing the gap between research & care. The Viewpoint Site CTMS team (formerly SignalPath) is building the next generation of software for the clinical research site. We focus on enabling efficient, collaborative, timely execution of clinical trials to make research an enjoyable, cost effective endeavor. You will join an interdependent, fun, engaged development organization that is focused on delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Scala, Java, Golang, Python, Angular, React and Cypress.
• Cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, Scala, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Full-stack web applications development.
• Interest in and ability to learn other programming languages and technologies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go.
• Experience developing full-stack products is a plus.
• Experience working within an agile organization (we use Jira extensively).
• Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills to complex issues.
• Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn other programming languages and technologies as needed.
