Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in Durham, NC (hybrid) is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop the Alletra storage platform, working across storage services and data path components.

You will implement scalable C++ in Linux, debug performance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop tests, and mentor newer engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6–10 years of software development experience.
• Experience with C++ in Linux and multithreaded systems.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills.
• Knowledge of storage/data path is a plus; Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for the HPE Alletra Enterprise Storage Platform, including storage services and data path components.
• Implement scalable and highly concurrent C++ solutions in Linux environments.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve functional, reliability, and performance issues using profiling and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust product features; participate in reviews.
