Job description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI-powered applications, agents, copilots, automations, and integrations.
• Translate defined business and technology opportunities into production-ready AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Develop intelligent agents that securely leverage approved enterprise data, documents, APIs, and business workflows.
• Build reusable prompts, components, connectors, templates, and development patterns to accelerate future AI initiatives.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise applications, collaboration platforms, identity services, data platforms, and cloud services.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and development trends and provide recommendations to technology leadership.
• Assess platforms and architectural approaches based on business requirements, scalability, security, and long-term technology strategy.
• Apply modern AI and machine learning techniques to solve practical enterprise problems.
• Work with large language models and technologies including LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, context engineering, and model evaluation.
• Design agentic AI solutions incorporating orchestration, task planning, human oversight, evaluation, and appropriate guardrails.
• Prepare enterprise content and data for AI applications through indexing, metadata, retrieval strategies, validation, and content-quality improvements.
• Work with structured, unstructured, and enterprise knowledge sources such as relational databases, document repositories, and collaboration platforms.
• Develop solutions that improve enterprise search, knowledge discovery, information retrieval, and decision support.
• Partner with data and governance teams to support AI-ready data practices and responsible use of enterprise information.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and document AI solutions deployed into production.
• Ensure solutions meet organizational standards for security, privacy, access control, responsible AI, and protection of sensitive information.
• Establish appropriate monitoring, testing, evaluation, and support practices for AI-enabled applications.
• Collaborate with governance and security partners to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.
• Help define and measure success criteria and business impact for deployed AI capabilities.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years designing, developing, or deploying enterprise AI/ML solutions.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI solutions that generate measurable business outcomes such as automation, productivity improvements, knowledge discovery, service enhancements, or cost savings.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML development technologies.
• Experience designing, testing, deploying, and supporting production software in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases/search, prompt engineering, context engineering, and model evaluation.
• Understanding of agentic AI, including orchestration, task planning, human-in-the-loop processes, guardrails, and agent evaluation.
• Experience working with enterprise data and knowledge sources, including technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, prompt management frameworks, evaluation platforms, or AI operations tooling.
• Applied machine learning and NLP techniques including classification, entity extraction, semantic search, and model evaluation.
• Enterprise AI content preparation, including document ingestion, metadata management, embeddings, vector databases, semantic indexing, retrieval validation, grounding, and content lifecycle management.
• Responsible AI practices, data governance, sensitive-data protection, access controls, monitoring, secure development, and production support.
• Enterprise integration patterns, REST APIs, serverless technologies, containers, event-driven architectures, and workflow automation.
• Cloud-native AI development across AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments.
• Experience with services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or comparable cloud integration technologies.
