Job description

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, automation, and data‑driven product development. You’ll build internal tools and user‑facing applications that transform clinical and operational data into actionable products for healthcare organizations.

This is a true software engineering role — not traditional web development, and not data engineering — but you’ll work deeply with data. You’ll build Rails applications that serve operational teams, automate clinical workflows with Playwright, develop lightweight Streamlit dashboards, and write Python utilities that interact with Snowflake. While you won’t own the pipelines themselves, you’ll need to understand how data moves from EHR systems through CDC replication into Snowflake so you can build effectively on top of it.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain internal and customer‑facing applications using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Heroku
  • Develop data‑driven dashboards and lightweight tools using Python and Streamlit
  • Write and maintain TypeScript/Playwright automation scripts for clinical workflow automation
  • Create front‑end interfaces that surface insights from our Snowflake warehouse to clinical, billing, and operational teams
  • Partner with data engineers to understand how models, views, and orchestration (OpenFlow/Airflow) feed into your applications
  • Own the full product lifecycle — from understanding a clinical or operational need, to building the solution, to supporting it in production
  • Contribute to the evolution of our data architecture as we move from batch pipelines to real‑time, domain‑specific data streams
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of full‑stack development experience
  • Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
  • Working knowledge of Python, especially data‑oriented libraries
  • Comfort writing advanced SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs) and understanding how data arrives in Snowflake
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on Heroku or similar PaaS
Nice to Have
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred; Redshift/BigQuery/Databricks also relevant)
  • Familiarity with Snowflake concepts (streams/tasks, stored procedures, Snowpark)
  • Experience with Streamlit or similar rapid‑prototyping frameworks
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, OpenFlow, dbt)
  • Experience with Git‑based deployment workflows (GitHub Actions, schemachange)
Our Stack
  • Applications: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Heroku
  • Automation: TypeScript, Playwright
  • Ingestion: OpenFlow CDC replication from SQL Server EHR; S3‑based ingestion
