Healthtek Solutions is expanding its technology organization to support a rapidly growing portfolio of software platforms across multiple business lines. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build and enhance applications across our Node.js (TypeScript), PostgreSQL, and React stack, deployed on AWS with a strong serverless footprint.

You’ll work on platforms that support claims processing, revenue cycle operations, provider analytics, and automation workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to grow into a senior role, gain exposure to distributed systems, and contribute across the full stack in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

Application & Platform Development

• Implement backend services and APIs using Node.js (TypeScript) and PostgreSQL.
• Build clean, maintainable UI components using React and modern front-end tooling.
• Support development of distributed systems deployed on AWS, including serverless services.
• Contribute to building data pipelines using AWS Lambda, Event Bridge, and SQS/SNS.
• Assist in developing ETLs that support analytics, automation, and operational workflows.
• Participate in system design discussions and propose improvements with guidance from senior engineers.
• Write reliable, testable code and follow best practices for version control, testing, and observability.
• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployments.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work with product managers, data teams, and RPA engineers to translate requirements into working features.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with peers to maintain high-quality engineering standards.

Operational Excellence

• Support incident triage and troubleshooting as part of a rotation with the team.
• Help ensure systems meet reliability, performance, and security expectations—especially important in healthcare.

What You Bring

Required Skills

• ~3 years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
• Practical experience with React and front-end fundamentals.
• Exposure to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, IAM, RDS).
• Understanding of ETLs, event-driven patterns, or distributed systems workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare, RCM, claims, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or the AWS CDK.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD tools.
• Comfort with monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.).
• Exposure to data engineering concepts or analytics workflows.
