Software Engineer II

• Create program logic for new applications and refine logic in existing ones through thorough analysis and modification.

Essential Skills For Creating a Lasting Impact

• Abilities: Ability to work with .NET or other object-oriented programming languages like Java. Ability to utilize SQL Server or other relational databases. Ability to engage in web development. Ability to automate unit testing.
• Required Experience: 2-4 years work experience in engineering or related fields. Experience participating in agile/scrum environments. Awareness of DevOps principles, infrastructure as code, and environment management.
• Preferred Experience: Exposure to message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka) and asynchronous processing patterns. Familiarity with event-driven architecture concepts and use cases. Experience with REST APIs. Basic understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD). Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Application Insights, ELK, or similar.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Location: Hybrid(75% remote, 25% in office) for our Boston, MA; Maitland, FL; or Milwaukee, WI locations
