Talento has partnered with a large organization that services customers all across the globe on a search for a contract Sr. Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the development and support of applications critical to the organization's operations. This person's main responsibilities are centered around the development of the Pricing Management Platform (PMP) currently under development.

Responsibilities

• The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in the entire development life cycle from planning and analysis through implementation and support.
• Analyze and comprehend information provided by Stakeholder.
• Create technical tasks required to complete development at hand.
• Author technical documentation to support the development of PMP as needed.
• Develop the functionality defined tasks and under the guidance of the Stakeholder and the Sr. Manager and iterate until acceptance criteria or definition of done is complete and approved by business stakeholders.
• Ensure that software architecture adheres to best practices and meets scalability, security, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, optimize infrastructure, and monitor application performance post-deployment.
• Participate and contribute in efforts to maintain and improve code quality, including setting up automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, regression) and enforcing coding standards.
• Identify technical risks during the planning stages and propose solutions to mitigate them proactively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IS, or related field required
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Recent experience with Angular on the front end and .NET Core on the backend is required
• Experience in relational database management (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL database management (preferably Aurora / PostgreSQL)
• Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-class, multi-layered cloud applications (ideally AWS)
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and enterprise systems architecture
• Strong experience developing, deploying, and documenting API based application platforms
• In depth knowledge of web application security principles, ensuring comprehensive system security
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile framework
