Millennium is seeking a senior software engineer to join its Fixed Income & Commodities Technology team. You will work with PMs, risk managers, and engineers on application development, deployment, and architecture to deliver low-latency, compute-intensive solutions.
Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years in software development with Java or C++, at least 1 year with Rust, and strong SQL/data tooling experience in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).

Information Technology is core to the health and growth of our business — the firm's active, multi-manager model demands flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems, including the development of next-generation analytical and trading capabilities. Within IT, the Fixed Income & Commodities Technology team builds and supports the trading applications that deliver live risk and profit & loss calculations driving Fixed Income and Commodities trading. These applications serve a broad range of users, including Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, and other trade-support functions such as Middle Office and Valuations.
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
